When students Vyacheslav Butusov and Dmitry Umetsky met in 1982, Nautilus Pompilius was born. Having decided to play together, the guys released their debut album called “Trains” in 1983. Their discography includes twelve long plays, six live albums, four collections, three dedication albums, and five collaborations with other musicians. They, like many, tried to imitate The Beatles, but eventually grew into an independent, distinctive group. The first line-up included Andrei Makarevich, who became the frontman, Mikhail Yashin, as well as girls - Nina and Larisa. The team members were fluent foreign language, so they performed in schools and clubs for young people. Soon, something changed - in addition to the vocalist, Yu. Borzov, I. Mazaev, P. Rubin, A. Ivanov and S. Kawagoe played in VIA, and the name sounded in English, Time Machines. Thanks to such rare electric guitars and a mini-amplifier, a sound was born that almost no one in the USSR had. After some time, in addition to the songs of the Fab Four, their own tracks appeared in the repertoire. The debut album was released - and at the moment there are thirteen of them in the team’s discography. Time Machine has received many awards and prizes. Now the lineup, in addition to the same Makarevich, includes Alexander Kulikov on bass guitar and vocals, as well as Valery Efremov on drums.

Vocalist and founder Sergei Chigrakov loved music since childhood: he went to music school, then entered college. Then he participated in several groups, the largest of them – “Group extended day" and "Different people." Soon he decided to go solo: after presenting the album, he took his friends with him on tour. The concerts were very successful - this is how Chizh and Co appeared. In 1994, the guys released their debut release. The lineup now includes, in addition to the frontman, A. Romanyuk as a bassist, M. Rusin as a guitarist, E.
