We are used to seeing these ladies in a serious business role. It is from their lips that we learn the latest news in politics, economics and culture. However, in addition to having high intelligence and the ability to stand perfectly in the frame, they are all simply charming women. We invite our readers to learn a little more about the most beautiful leading Ukrainian news...

Irina YUSUPOVA, Inter

Irina has been working on the channel since 2002. At first she was engaged in social work, then moved to political journalism. From 2005 to 2008 she was Inter’s own correspondent in Moscow. And less than a year ago I got the chance to try myself as a presenter. Yusupova admits that the first broadcasts were very exciting for her: “I’m not a biorobot. When I worked as a journalist, it was necessary to navigate my material, but now I have to understand the most basic things in each of the stories in the issue. So that the viewer does not perceive me simply as a head that reads the text.”

Married, no children.

Lydia TARAN, Channel 5

Initially, Lida gained experience as a radio presenter. I got on TV by accident. The new channel was just opening, and she was asked to come and audition. That day I saw the camera for the first time. But she confidently sat down in a chair and began to say something. Over the course of several years, she managed to work both in sports news and as a presenter of political marathons.

Since 2005 he has been working at Channel 5. The only one among the news anchors was seen in a candid photo shoot.

Natalya came to TSN for the “pluses” in August 2006. He understands the tricky Ukrainian politics quite well, and professionally (when necessary, quite demandingly and harshly) puts guest politicians in their place.

She is active not only at work, but also at home. She tries to do almost everything around the house herself. The signature dish is baked fish or meat.

Married, has a son.

Natalya GAVRILOVA, STB

She was born in Nikolaev, where she began working on television at the age of 18. Already at the age of 19, she “got into the picture” and began working as both a journalist and a presenter. And at 21 she moved to Kyiv and since then she has been working at STB for 5 years.

The leaders of the current rating are Yuri Gorbunov and Masha Efrosinina. It’s interesting that 10 years ago they started together quite successfully on the New Channel as the hosts of the morning “Rise.” Now Gorbunov and Efrosinina are one of the most popular TV stars of live entertainment shows. Gorbunov is the star of the evening prime show on “1+1”, and Efrosinina hosts a number of shows on the New Channel. In the previous Focus rating, they were only in the second half of the list.
In general, the rating of popular TV presenters has been significantly updated: some of its participants began to appear on screens more often, others changed the channel or completely disappeared from the air. For example, the ex-host of “Facts” on ICTV Ivanna Kobernik left television and became the press secretary of the leader of the “Change Front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk. And Lyudmila Dobrovolskaya, who hosted TSN, but changed the rating “1+1” to the city “Siti”, was not included in the Focus list.
The preliminary list included 130 TV presenters of the most popular programs from the six highest-rated channels in Ukraine. The list was compiled based on data from the Industrial Television Committee (ITC). Then the top 30 presenters were determined by experts - TV directors, producers, media journalists, who assessed each nominee according to three criteria: professionalism, charisma and compliance with the spirit of the channel. When calculating the results, the scores of each participant were summed up.
Among news experts, experts consider Elena Frolyak, the presenter of “Facts” on ICTV, to be the best - she is in 3rd place on the Focus list. By the way, only a third of the presenters represent information programs in the rating. The rest are TV presenters of entertainment and educational programs. This reflects the general trend of decreasing viewer interest in serious, in particular political, information. Five years ago, in the Focus rating, more than half of the participants were news program presenters.
As the rating results show, the size of the show’s audience does not necessarily imply the popularity of the presenter. For example, “Details of the Week” on the Inter TV channel is the leader among news in the country, but its presenter Oleg Panyuta took only 18th place.
The fact that audience sympathies and expert assessments often do not coincide is also evidenced by the fact that the presenter of the Ukrainian version of “Big Difference” Ivan Urgant was included in the Focus list. But his colleague Alexander Tsekalo remained outside the top 30. By the way, Urgant is the only foreign showman among the thirty who hosts programs on Ukrainian television.
There are also other people from Russian television on the list - Savik Shuster and Evgeny Kiselev. However, in the Focus ranking, neither foreign experience nor authority helped them beat their format competitor Andrei Kulikov, who settled in 9th place. Savik Shuster was only slightly behind Kulikov, but Evgeniy Kiselev took only 21st place.
The rating also included presenters whose main activities are not related to television. For example, director Oksana Bayrak (No. 19) or pediatrician Evgeny Komarovsky (No. 29).
The highest-ranking TV presenter can be called Vladimir Zelensky, the host of “Porobleno in Ukraine”, who is also the general producer of “Inter”. Although he did not score high on professionalism, charisma and compliance with the spirit of the channel ensured the showman a place in the top ten.
Among the TV channels, the record holder for the number of popular presenters was “1+1” (7 people), followed by “Inter” (6 people). The outsiders are the Ukraina shopping and entertainment complex. After Savik Shuster switched to First National, only Snezhana Egorova can be considered a representative of this channel in the rating.
