It was formed on the popular project “Star Factory 7” at the beginning of 2007 - the head of the season was Konstantin Meladze. For many years Meladze was a producer and songwriter group "Yin-Yang". Now the guys are trying to independently write compositions in a given format, without lowering the high bar. Recently released new song, authored by Artem Ivanov, called “Cool,” the video for this song caused a surge of delight among fans.
After seven years of participants " Yin Yang“It’s difficult to associate with the “manufacturers”, but their career began precisely on this very rating project of those years. Now they are stylish, fashionable, beautiful, confident musicians with vast musical experience and dense tour schedule, also frequent guests at many social events, presentations and shows.
Artem, Tatyana and Sergey love fashion brands, beautiful clothes, live a vibrant life. At the same time, they actively communicate with fans, personally know representatives of fan clubs and talk warmly about organized meetings. In this interview, we wanted to look behind the scenes of show business and chat with one of the popular teams Russian stage. The television project “Star Factory-7” became the starting point of your career. Tell us about this stage of life.
Sergey:“Star Factory” has become a big bright spot in our lives that we will remember. On this project, we turned from talented children, in other words, from chicks, into big ones beautiful birds and... flew (laughs)
Tatiana:“Star Factory” gave us a lot, we remember this period of life with warmth, but it was a long time ago and the impressions have already dulled.
Artem: We are grateful to this project, thanks to it we entered the big stage and are still singing. I remember the casting with much more tenderness because it was so new and unusual for me. The guys have already been to castings more than once, but for me this was the first casting. Emotions were off the charts and it was cool!
What did you do before participating in this project?
Artem: I studied at the Polytechnic Institute to become a mathematician and economist. In the future I saw myself as anything but a musician. Life decreed otherwise, and things turned out the way they did.
Tatiana: I studied to be a singer, received a higher education musical education, went to castings to somehow secure my future. So what I do now is my specialty.
Sergey: I was in my second year at the institute when I got involved in the project. Before the Factory, I worked part-time in a student group, where we did good deeds and helped people. (laughs)
How has your life changed after Star Factory?
Artem: We toured for a very long time as part of the Star Factory project by Konstantin Meladze. After a while, almost all of Konstantin’s projects from the “factory” were eliminated, and since 2009 group "Yin-Yang" began performing as a full-fledged group almost immediately after the release of the song and video “Kamikaze”. It was then that we became recognizable and in demand as an independent team.
What is your relationship with producer Konstantin Meladze?
Artem: With Bones we have great relationship, but he is now passionate about a new project and is devoting all his energy to it. Konstantin Meladze is currently writing music for the ballet “The Great Gatsby,” directed by Alan Badoev. Polina Gagarina sings in this project.
On this moment he gave us the go-ahead to select the tracks and launch them, as long as the style was maintained. We didn’t argue, we didn’t disagree, we worked.
Before the departure of one of the vocalists, the Yin-Yang group was compared to the ABBA group, and now you have become a trio? Tatyana, isn’t it difficult for you to be the only girl in a team?
Tatiana: Perhaps we were compared to the ABBA group due to the fact that we had two boys and two girls in our team. Now it’s not difficult for me at all, it’s even easy. Maybe it would be more difficult if I didn’t know these boys, but here they are practically family people whom I know well. Plus, we lived in the same house for a long time as part of the project, we got used to it, plus we’ve been working together for many years. So everything is great!
How long have you been together as a trio?
Artem: As a trio we've been around much longer, but as a foursome we've been together for a year and a half. A month after the end of the “Star Factory” project. Return” we said goodbye to Yulia.
After the release of the song and video “Kamikaze” we started new life, as I already said, in the composition that you are now observing.
What are the relationships in the group?
Artem: The relationships in the group are working and human. We often meet on work-related matters. We write tracks, do joint shopping and select costumes for concerts. We sometimes relax together, but more often separately.
How many songs and videos does the Yin-Yang group have?
Artem: Seven clips, if I’m not mistaken, and there are a lot of songs, I didn’t even count them, especially if you take into account temporary compositions. Standard program group "Yin-Yang" which we perform on stage usually consists of twelve songs.
Sergey: If at the beginning we had equal amount fast compositions and slow romantic ones, now we have more rhythmic energetic ones in our repertoire dance compositions. Our style is changing and, we are sure, for the better.
Are your songs about love?
Artem: Not all our songs are about love, but one way or another they come down to it. For example, the song “Alien” is about love; it would be more correct to say about self-love. In my opinion, this song is about Kostya, although he denies it, but my personal feeling of how he perceives himself is embedded in the lyrics of this composition.
What is love to you?
Tatiana: Love is warm feelings for a person that last for years, when you cannot live without a person. He becomes your soulmate.
Artem: Love is when two people, despite the amount of time spent together, manage to intimate relationships Don't turn it into incest. When close people become so close... I have a favorite saying on this issue: “Love lasts three years, and then incest begins.” The main task is to avoid this in relationships, and if people are able to maintain passion for many years, then this is perhaps true, great love.
Tell us about a bright story from your concert life?
Artem: When there are a lot of tours, there are also a lot of bright events, and all the adventures become everyday, and you stop remembering them. In fact, there were a lot of funny and interesting things, once we even slept through the plane.
Tatiana: I remember in London on Trafalgar Square we performed at the “Russian Maslenitsa” event, Seryozha threw up the microphone during the performance of the song and dropped it - it was very funny. The moment was captured by cameras, and the video can be seen on the Internet.
Sergey: Yes Yes!!! We opened the concert. There were about five thousand people in the square. Our first song sounded, the audience was still lethargic and stood calmly. Plus, we started with a slow song, and after the microphone fell, the people clearly perked up. It looked very funny, at that moment we seemed to have melted the ice, and then we had a blast. We would have warmed up the audience anyway, but here it turned out much faster and more interesting.
Sergey, in 2013 you performed the song “On Target” for the series. Tell us about this experience.
Sergey:“On Target” is the soundtrack to the TV series “Lecturer” on the Rossiya channel. This is a separate project. They just asked me to perform - I sang. Then we shot a video using bits from the series, and it turned out well. The series stars famous Russian actors: Fyodor Bondarchuk, Dmitry Pevtsov, Ekaterina Guseva.
How do you maintain your shape and beauty?
Sergey: Now I want to go eat something fatty and unhealthy... Although I try not to eat in the evening. I often deliberately order a lot of food so that I can eat it all. If it were always warm in Moscow, I would walk a lot. And since it’s cold here, I don’t walk around the city much.
Tatiana: Seryozha is so supportive, and Artem and I go to the gym and do fitness. I limit myself to fatty foods.
Artem: It is very difficult to limit yourself in food on tour, because there is an immense amount of it. Eat, eat, and telling yourself “stop” is the main difficulty. We all eat and drink, but in moderation.
What is your attitude towards sports? What is your favorite sport?
Artem:(whispers) Love games, of course...
Tatiana: I go to Gym, and I love watching figure skating.
Artem: Shopping at Tanyusha's, of course.
Sergey: You know how your legs sway when shopping! All shopping centers We need to get around Moscow (smiles). I played sports as a child. I played volleyball professionally, I have a rank in athletics, then I started dancing. Now, apart from the gym, running, cycling and rollerblading, I don’t seriously engage in sports.
Have you been to Sochi at the Olympic Games?
Tatiana: We recently returned from Sochi, where we were at the closing of the Paralympic Games, and before that we were at the opening of the Olympics. We performed our usual program.
At the opening we performed on the stage of the main airport, and at the closing of the Paralipids also at one of the main venues, Rosa Khutor. Everything was very touching, beautiful, and we are glad that we had such an honor.
Sergey: This big event for Russia, and everything was under police control. Accreditation was required at every step. At the entrance to concert and sports venues, everyone was searched without exception.
Artem, tell us about the first one great job in the repertoire of the group “Yin-Yang” is the song “Cool”. Are you the author of words and music?
Artem: Yes. This is the first song that we launched with the guys like song by the group "Yin-Yang", the author of which is not Kostya. In my opinion, it is completely in our style, since the arrangement was done by the team of Konstantin Meladze. First of all, Sergei Grachev is an excellent arranger. In the video we made a stylistic story. They launched a song and a video at the same time, which was presented on the country’s channels. This is a good warm story that I hope will give people positive emotions, especially in the current time of turmoil pouring on us from TV screens. We wanted a little sun and positivity! The clip consists of pieces filmed in Los Angeles, Indian Ocean, there are also excerpts from our touring life, some of the filming was done on the phone. Take a look, you'll like it!

Artem: Thank you. We would like to express special gratitude to the director and at the same time the editor of this video, Kadim Tarasov, who collected all the material that we filmed. And we managed to do such interesting work.
Artem, do you also write songs for other musicians? What songs are these and who sings them?
Artem: Yes, it happened... I collaborated several times with other artists. I had a song “A5” for Alena Sheller, but this is more of a commercial story. Now I work exclusively with close friends who are interesting. First of all, this is Vitaly Kozlovsky, a popular Ukrainian performer, honored artist. In Ukraine, Vitaly is a girl's idol, like Dima Bilan for Russia. He's the personification of pop culture in a glossy way.

History of the Yin-Yang group
Group “Yin-Yang” composition: Sergey Ashikhmin, Artem Ivanov, Yulia Parshuta and Tatyana Bogacheva. All of them are graduates of the well-known “Star Factory - 7”. Konstantin Miladze, who is their producer, had a hand in creating the group. It should also be noted that the Yin-Yang group has reliable support from the Meladze Brothers production center.
It should be noted that the Yin-Yang group was completely created and formed during television project“Star Factory – 7”, which is the brainchild of Channel One. Before the YIN-YANG group was created, the Miladze brothers conducted several experiments regarding the composition of the group, as well as the combination different couples singers, finally decided that a quartet, which would combine two girls and two guys, would be an ideal option for modern show business. We can say that this is the standard that the Swedes began to use when creating the Abba group. The Yin-Yang group performed the final concert at the Star Factory-7 simply amazingly; according to the results of the project, they took third place, which allowed them to receive serious support from the Miladze brothers.
“YIN-YANG” concert of the tour “Star Factory-7” was held under its original name. She also invited the children many times to take part in various programs and concerts organized by Channel One. At the moment, the Yin-Yang song group has more than one single to its credit. Among them: “Karma”, “Little by little”. But still, you should pay attention to the fact that the success of this group is much weaker than that of the same duet “BiS”, which is the creation of the same “Star Factory”.
The YIN-YANG group has a fairly friendly composition. Now let's talk a little more about each participant.
Yulia Parshuta, before getting to the “Star Factory”, where the Yin-Yang group, a concert and many hits awaited her, received an education as a philologist in the city of Sochi, where a branch of the Peoples’ Friendship University is located, where the girl studied. While studying at school, she managed to try herself as a ballerina and basketball player, graduated from music and art schools. In 2007, she entered a beauty contest that was held in the capital and successfully won it. I tried myself as a weather forecast presenter on one of the Sochi channels, and also did advertising fashion collections clothes. And only after all this, the group “YIN-YANG” became family for her; concerts with them became a real pleasure.
Sergey Ashikhmin. He is a very independent person, and this was noticed by the entire Yin-Yang group, whose concerts delight the audience so much. Born and lived until age 16 in Tula region, after which he moved to Moscow on his own. The years of study at school were not in vain, since it was there that the guy got his first experience of participating in his own group. Also at that time, the guy went to ballroom dancing, took breakdancing lessons, and also tried himself as a dance clothing designer. Only after all this did the Yin-Yang group appear in his life, with which he is now recording songs so successfully.
Tatiana Bagocheva, all her conscious life spent in Savostopol. Also in school years She began taking vocal lessons, thanks to which the YIN-YAN group burst into her life, took part in vocal competitions, which repeatedly ended in victory for her. She received her higher education at the Kiev University of Culture and Arts, in the vocal department. She worked part-time as a model, acted in commercials. Only after all this, the Yin-Yang group became her home; songs and concerts with them became real happiness for the girl.
Artem Ivanov, originally from Cherkasy, the Yin-Yang group became his first musical group. His school years were spent in Cherkassy. While studying at school, I managed to graduate at the same time music school. I did sports. He received his education at the Kiev Polytechnic University. The lineup never even dreamed of getting into “YIN-YANG.”
At the moment, “Yin-Yang” composition has not changed since the beginning of its existence, it has released the following albums: “Little by little”, “Save me”, “Karma”, “Kamikaze” (2009), “Don’t let go of my hand” ( 2010), “Don’t care” (2010). Every year the group becomes more and more popular. “Yin-Yang” songs easily reach the top of various charts, which makes the guys even more popular.

“Yin-Yang” is produced by Konstantin Meladze. In 2011, the Yin-Yang group, whose composition was Russian-Ukrainian, participated in the final of the return of the Star Factory. She had to compete with the best graduates of all seasons.

Tatiana Bogacheva
Born in Sevastopol in 1985. I visited as a child opera studio, where she studied the basics of vocal and acting art. While studying at school, she successfully participated in city vocal competitions. In Kyiv the girl graduated State Academy by specialty pop vocals. Therefore, the yin-yang group to which she replenished only benefited from this.
In parallel with singing career Tatyana was engaged in modeling and even met politicians from other countries coming to Ukraine with bread and salt at the plane's steps.
Tatiana’s music always came first, and after successfully passing the casting for the seventh “Star Factory,” her modeling career was over. On the project, she performed superbly in any duet and charmed the audience with her voice and beauty.
The girl is confident in the success of her career as a singer and believes that real talent will sooner or later be noticed.
Sergey Ashikhmin
Sergey is from Arkhangelsk. Even at school, he liked to be a leader, he organized various events, performances and was a general ringleader. He has a four-year professional career behind him. ballroom dancer. And now he is interested in breakdancing and even opened his own school. And in the yin yang group in which he received a place, he revealed his talents.

Artem Ivanov
Artem was born near Kiev in the small town of Cherkassy. At school he studied several languages, was involved in music and sports. His friends talk about Artem as a sincere, sympathetic and kind person. Innate intelligence makes Artem look like a modern knight. Therefore, the yin-yang group, having replenished its composition with them, made a good move.
At the institute, Artem played for the university football team. Having received a diploma about higher education, the young man immediately leaves for Moscow for the casting of the “Star Factory”.
Yulia Parshuta
The girl came to Moscow from Adler. She plays the violin, has a ballet background and enjoys drawing. Yulia could be seen on Sochi television, she gives a weather forecast. In addition, the girl actively participates in the filming of advertising.
Philological abilities allow Yulia to sing not only in Russian, but also in Armenian and Greek languages. Which is a yin yang for the group and the composition.

Tatyana Bogacheva is Crimean. She was born in Sevastopol in February 1985. The parents immediately noticed that their daughter was growing up to be an artistic and musically gifted girl. Therefore, they took 5-year-old Tanya to a children's opera studio, where experienced teachers trained the girl's voice and taught her the basics of vocals, acting and pantomime.
A couple of years later, Tatyana Bogacheva already participated in vocal competitions and song festivals. More than a dozen certificates and prizes are kept in her house.
Vocal classes in her native Simferopol allowed the girl to easily enter the Kyiv Academy of Culture and Art. Tanya chose the specialty “pop vocals”.
In Ukraine, Bogacheva is known as a singer and a striking model. The girl was a member of a Kyiv modeling agency and appeared in commercials and posters more than once. Perhaps Tatyana, with her external data, could make a good modeling career. But the girl dreamed of music.

Tanya received this opportunity in 2007. This year the creative biography of Tatyana Bogacheva started. The singer passed the qualifying stages of the 7th season of the popular TV show “Star Factory” and got into the project, which gave Tatyana a start in life.
Viewers did not know that a group of nominees from the TV show “Star Factory” would be created until the moment the winners of the competition were awarded. The prize-winning place was given to the singers by the song “Save Me,” which, like the first composition, was included in the rotation of many radio stations in Russia and Ukraine. The stated reward for the Yin-Yang group was a recording solo album and a clip. The filming of the video for the second song from the musicians' repertoire was entrusted to the video maker.
The rating of the seventh season of “Star Factory” turned out to be so high that the organizers decided to hold an international tour, which included visits to Israel, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia and the USA. In 2008, Tatyana Bogacheva and Artem Ivanov were entrusted with being the first to perform the holiday anthem, specially written for the occasion of Family Day in Russia.
And in September, listeners already enjoyed new compositions - “Karma” and “Kamikaze”. Video clips were shot for both hits. The group is invited to anniversary concert channel "Music Box", and then the video for the song "Karma" receives first place in the video competition as part of Eurovision 2010.
Then many wonderful new compositions appeared, but the song “Don’t Care” is rightfully considered the best of them. It became an instant hit, including gaining popularity as mobile content. After the video appeared, the composition was posted on YouTube and received 22 million views.
On the third anniversary of the group’s existence, Tatyana and Artyom delighted fans with the new single “Don’t Let Go of My Hand,” the video for which was shot using New Year’s symbols. Three months later, the group already participated in “Star Factory: Return” - the super final of the show, where the strongest finalists of all editions were invited. Soon followed by the releases of the songs “Cool”, “Thailand”, “Saturday”, the author of which was Artem Ivanov. In 2016, Tatyana and Artem performed the song “Goosebumps” as a duet.
In addition to participating in the Yin-Yang group, for musical career Tatyana Bogacheva was lucky enough to collaborate with composers Georgy Garanyan. A number of joint compositions were recorded with,.

Personal life
When Tatyana got to the Star Factory, she had a young man. But the almost closed life on the project, where the participants turn into one family, dictated its own rules. Tanya met Artem Ivanov, for whom she immediately fell in love. At first I liked the guy's appearance. The singer reminded her who was the standard male beauty V teenage years Tatiana. The romance did not go away even after the end of the show. The personal life of Tatyana Bogacheva and her chosen one has been flowing in the same direction for several years. At first, the couple rented housing and lived in a civil marriage. But in May 2016, Bogacheva and Ivanov turned into a real “cell of society.” The young couple have a lovely girl, whom they decided to name unusual name Myrrh.
